Instant Messaging powered by Saki will be our first application to be review. This App starts with a long and unnecessary sign up form that requires too much information for what I was expecting to get and for too few performance as well. And after I finally got my password already complaining about the sign up performance, I found myself in front of small window, emphasizing the word small with a cute owl looking at me with a funny face. Blue background and some icons to my confusion waiting to find the typical IM window replicated in so many famous programs such as Msn, Icq or Mirc. So here I am with this bird, not helping me too much in front of something that I expected to be totally different trying to find out what this IM powered by Saki was offering me Facebook user. This are the Icons
- Facebook apps, advertising for more downloads from our friend Saki, when still I am not sure if this App that I installed in my precious Facebook apps works as an IM.
- Mail, apparently I did not install an IM because so far no messages received or sent, By this point I feel confused and try to search through this Icon to find out that I can replace my Outlook, or web mail service by a tiny window with a cute owl spreading his wings (maybe knowing that if I could I ll probably attack him), smaller than a dollar bill where I can barely read the options for this feature.
- Profiles, this feature is used to set up my profile maybe because Ill finally be able to have access to the only tool I was waiting for that was Instant messaging as an interesting app to install on my Facebook. So I move forward, trying to not hate the owl that now has a message bubble with the word "tip" on it.
- RSS Reader, no need to explain the use for this tool, even thou I still complain about the size of the tiny window.
- Invite and Email Referrals.....mmmmmmmmm I think I will not refer this app to my friends,,, sorry Saki.
- NOWWWWWWWWWWW I SEE THE LIGHT. The famous Owl was not there just to annoy me but he is in charge of the IM, and I finally get to see the open browser on a tiny Icon in the bottom of the window while I wasted all my time playing with the MAIN icons thinking that they were of MAIN importance.
- IM powered by Saki for Facebook is a total floss and a waste of time.
So to reach the end my dear friends, My Score is 2 out of 5 thinking on the owl and his sadness to be stack in such a small place.
Hope it helps my loved Facebook comunity, Hope you post your comments,
