Review of Facebook´s Application Where I've Been by Craig Ulliott

Todays review is about this INCREDIBLE Facebook application that a heavy backpacker friend of mine invited me to install and it is called Where I've been created by Craig Ulliott. Here its attach the authors description of the app

"A detailed, interactive world map, show everyone where you’ve been, where you have lived and where you want to go. It includes a zoom tool with simple click and pan functionality. It also has all the US States, Canadian Provinces and other international regions..."

When you start this application the first thing you see is a world map with all the country divisions on it, and a mouse pointer that you can move to select wich of the countryes you ve been on, lived on or simply point the places that you would like to visit. So the map starts getting colored, while you move around the globe searching for all the places with the help of the text line below the map where all the country names are showed.

There is also a zoom tool that help us to search small countries that otherwise would be impossible to find such as Moldova, Israel, etc. Once all the countries have been selected with its respective color (one, two or three clicks) you have to save your map. You can also set up some options regarding what you want your map to display. But the interesting things are only starting when we are done with our maps, and we get to see our friends maps, travelling around their visits, and comparing our colors with theirs. Now we go with the navigation bar,

• My Map, clicking here we get access to all the things related with our map.
• Beta, takes us to some sort of advanced look of the future version of this application.
• Friends maps, to see all what your friends have been doing this last years with their money and time!!.
• Statistics, this is an interesting link cuse it shows you out of all the users that installed this applications some interesting numbers for example: the majority of this App said that they would like to visit Australia some time (1,417,580 people) and apparently most of them would like to live in England (496,342 people) even thou it gets crazy cold on winter time.
• Travel Chat, this probably is the least interesting link on this app, but if you feel like chatting with some travelling lovers, you can give it a try.
  

Well that would be almost all of this interesting application, really easy to use and a fun thing to do while you are at the office planning your next trip or when you just fell like remembering good travelling times.

Recommendations, I would see if it’s possible to add or upload some pictures in each selected country.

My rating, is 4 out of 5 I really enjoy and love this application waiting for the new version to come out.
